I was browsing the internet and my computer shut off randomly. Booting brings me to this error and says press space to continue. It tried to load windows but blue screens during the loading.
Any ideas on what to do here?
I have windows 7. No updates were installed recently. I have no installation cd or anyway to make one on a flashdrive.
I want to run a disk check and try to figure out what the issue is. Kinda an emergency so please help asap.
CPU is also at 88C for some reason. Im beginning to think this is a hardware issue. Bad motherboard perhaps?

Solution
Hello... The Best situation here is to STOP trying to fix it... AND get it as fast as you can into another computer for Data retrieval... asking an APP to run or Fix the DATA on this drive will just result in More errors written to it... It's possible you only have a brief moment of operation time to get this done... CHKDSK /F could just make it worse. B / make sense?

Drive is pretty old. Idk the exact date but I has it with windows 7 on it so that could give you a general idea.
I have no other pc available to me at this time. I cant run anything or boot anything from a flash drive as I have no way of making one. Im kinda stuck with whats in front of me

Yep prebuild and came with windows 7. Isnt there a way to get into a command prompt before windows crashes and run sfw or checkdisk?
Still strange that the CPU is burning up though

Hello... There are many free tools available to DL for testing outside Windows... B / do you have a local library/café/friend/family with computers? you are pretty much done for now... You will need to take some time to collect a "Tool BOX" of bootable tools, if you want to Fix this yourself... there's no "magic" answer here if your OS media is only on the OLD Drive that needs further testing OR won't boot. B /

A local computer repair shop would/should have all you need to expedite the analysis/repair and the Win 7 OS install on a new drive.

Un-plug your HD and Boot into your BIO's screen and view/report your CPU freq, ram freq, CPU idle temperature reported and CPU Fan speed for me?

if you have a PS Voltage/heath screen... report that too.
if you have a CPU voltage screen... report that too.

Thermal paste can dry out and cause higher temps... also the CPU fan can lose it's speed and control over time.

Id really like to try to fix this one if at all possible because I really need the data on it. New drive would be a last resort
