Mobo: Msi Pro VD Plus
CPU: i5 7500
I had already ordered all the stuff and had it shipped to me. Only to realize that my motherboard's bios requires an update to use the cpu. So I was thinking that I should order this (https://www.amazon.com/G440-Cpu-1-60-Ghz-Cache/dp/B005M2HE0K/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1489117705&sr=1-1&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_four_browse-bin%3A7107927011%2Cp_89%3AIntel%2Cp_n_condition-type%3A2224371011) in order to update my bios and install windows. I currently am unable to do anything at the time with my current cpu. My plan would be update bios with old cpu and switch back to the new one. Would this be a good choice of action?

I did btw I tried vga via mobo and hdmi via gtx 1060. I didn't get any pop ups or bios layouts. If you couldn't tell by now this is my first build. My mobo has lights that show if there is a missing component or a broken one. There was no lights so I had assumed the only logical reason why it wouldn't boot is because of a outdated bios. This is my whole build btw (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vvyjhq)
