I noticed a series of scratches on my motherboard when I was switching cases. Its in an area where I don't plug anything in so i'm not sure if its always been there or was done during the switch and I never noticed it.
Pasting pictures is not working for me (first post on this site), so here is a link to them.

The close up one looks pretty bad but in actuality they are very small and fairly shallow, but i'm not sure how much abuse the circuitry can take.
Also after trying to start up the computer once switching everything to the new case it kept booting up then cutting out before anything showed up onscreen, did this repeatedly. But I am a novice at connecting all the components so I suspect I connected something incorrectly, having a friend look at it this weekend, but who knows maybe it is from the scratches i'm not sure if that's a characteristic of MoBos being scratched.
Please let me know what you all think.

Thanks,
Alex

I would not sorry about those scratches, but man your rough when swapping a motherboard... (joke)
I have done far worst with metal pillars to mount water cooling solution on the cpu/
as long as the lines are not cut through it should be just fine, if your worries about the "exposed" parts, you can always use nail varnish (pick a colour) and cover the scratches if you so like.
