Where should I start upgrading?

Hi guys, my PC is a few years old now and I'm in a position where I'd like to start making some upgrades. I'm not looking to upgrade everything at once, just gradually start replacing components. I've got a budget of about $500 a month (can stretch it a bit further if there's something outside that limit worth spending the extra on) for this. What would be the best place for me to start? I'm looking to use it for gaming/recording, some video editing and a bit of photoshop.

Currently I have:

Should I be looking at a new motherboard and CPU, additional memory, adding a SSD or upgrading the GPU first? In all likelihood I'll end up replacing most of my hardware relatively soon, just wanted to know where to start. Also worth asking if you think the upgrades will necessitate a new PSU.

Solution
In your upgrade path, it is almost certain that you won't have to replace that PSU.

The path can only be broken down to 2 major upgrade groups: 1) GPU and 2) CPU+MB+RAM

Generally, it is always better to have a stronger CPU and a weaker GPU at a given time than to have a weak CPU bottlenecking the performance of a powerful GPU.

Having said that, upgrading your GPU from an R9 270 to either a GTX 1060 or RX 480 (good for 1080p gaming) would most likely be hindered in their max. possible performance because of your weaker i3-4360.

I would highly suggest upgrading your CPU+MB+RAM first before the GPU.

Suggested upgrade path: 1) CPU + MB + RAM ---> 2) SSD ---> 3) GPU
