I just bought a custom pc from ibuypower. my main drive is a 480gb ssd which is what i have stored everything on so far. Im quite new to advanced pc's outside of walmart >.> . my 1 TB HDD is what i think im hearing and is what sounds like a disk loading up sometimes and then slowing down but this is out of nowhere. i have not loaded anything to the HDD. It all sounds normal, no adnormal clicks (well no clicks at all really since im not writing anything to it right?) no screech or whatever or anything. I want to know why its doing anything at all when my ssd is my main drive and ive used the hdd for nothing. sorry if this is a overly cautious question cause i really dont think theres anything wrong i just cannot find anywhere why im hearing it about every hour or so when im not using it......Thanks :)

Edit: sorry but im new to pc for the most part being a console player i forgot to add. I also wanted to add that i have no idea what kind of HDD i have due to ibuypower just calling it a mechanical hard drive with no brand or anything. i see theres WD and seagate or w/e but i cant tell you what i have as it just states that its a mechanical hdd i believe. unless there all mechanical............idfk. :)
