I tried googling but can't find any info. So I was originally running my Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ OC 8gb on Silent Mode but then switched to Boost Mode using the vBIOS switch. I would like to ask a few questions:
1. Is it safe to have it on boost mode all the time? Even when not running games?
2. Is the performance boost worth it? (It kinda runs hotter and probably uses more power.)
I read before from another website's comment section that running it on silent mode would be better for the card's life span. This is what got me paranoid since Boost Mode is kinda overclocking (correct me if I'm wrong) and I don't want the card dying on me within the next 5 years or so. I wouldn't mind having it on Boost Mode as long as it's safe.
