Hi, i need your advice on choosing motherboard and ram.

I heard some motherboards don't support some Ram modules so i want to be sure before buying.

I'm going to buy the R7 1700 and im between MSI Tomahawk motherboard and the Gygabyte Gaming 3.

For the ram i was thinking about Corsair 16GB Kit 2400mhz cl14 (CMK16GX4M2A2400C14)

What motherboard you advice me buying?

Will i have problems with that pair of Ram? Should i go for another one?

Thank you.

'Better' Is a term that isn't very relevant when it comes to PC gaming. As I said, in my opinion the X370 would be the...
Although there aren't vary many ryzen motherboards, there is a wide range of prices.
$110: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3
$180: MSI X370 Pro Garbon
$250: Asus Crosshair VI hero

Any of these 3 will work just fine. The best bang for your buck/value motherboard would be the MSI pro carbon.

Like i said in the first post, i'm going for a pair of 2x8GB

The one i said i was looking into, the Corsair 2400mhz 14cl (CMK16GX4M2A2400C14) does it work well with any of the boards i mentioned?

Whats the difference between the Gigabyte AB350 and X370 from MSI? It's like 75€ difference where i live. Is it worth it? Why?

'Better' Is a term that isn't very relevant when it comes to PC gaming. As I said, in my opinion the X370 would be the best value wise for what your getting. I'll give you a run-down of the motherboards and you can pick whichever fits you best.

MSI X370:
Multiple Graphics card support (Crossfire and SLI)
RGB lighting
4 memory slots up to 64 GB
Supports up to DDR4-3200 Ram Speed
Built-in Network Card

Gigabyte AB350
Multiple Graphics card support (Ony Crossfire)
4 memory slots up to 64GB
Supports up to DDR4-3200 Ram Speed
Built-in Network Card

As you can see, the differences are minimal. As for your ram, it will work fine on any of the motherboards here.

For what you described the only difference is the SLI support... since im not thinking about that, maybe i should be ok with B350?

Yes you're definitely fine with the B350. And even if you did want to go for multiple GPUs, crossfire is still a viable option

Thank you for your help.

If im not asking too much, do i lose anything else by choosing the B350 over the X370? Like higher OC or lower Temp? Or anything?

Not really. OC and temps are related to the CPU and CPU cooler. The only reason that I said it was better is that its upgrade friendly (SLI) and that its pretty cool looking + RGB lights.

Yeah i know, but the OC makes higher Voltage, and the motherboard vrm could suffer from it. Anyway, again, thank you for your help.

Have a nice day.
