Installed new motherboard, CPU, RAM -- no display on monitor

I recently installed a new motherboard, CPU, RAM, and a liquid cooler (for the CPU).

Motherboard: MSI B350 Tomahack AM4
CPU: AMD 7 Ryzen 1700X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 3000 mHz (2 x 8GB)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960

When I turn the PC on, the fans start but nothing displays on my monitor. I have the keyboard and mouse plugged in; the keyboard lights up but the lights are oscillating (like something is loading maybe) while the mouse (Razer Deathadder Chroma) does not light up.

I downloaded Windows 10 via Windows Creation Tool onto a blank external hard drive so that I could upload it onto my "new" PC/motherboard.

However, nothing shows up on my monitor. My monitor is black as if I've unplugged it (shows no signal).

I tried using the motherboard DVI slots and the graphics card display port and DVI slots with no success.

I organized the RAM as instructed in the motherboard handbook; I even tried taking one out to see if that was the issue.

I'm not very good with computers so any help is extremely appreciated. Hopefully I missed something that you guys can help me with.

I'm not sure if I'm having a GPU issue or if there is something wrong with my motherboard.

Thanks,
Zach

Ryzen doesn't have an igpu so plugging video into motherboard won't do anything. Everything will have to come from the gpu. It sounds like either the motherboard might be bad or the GPU might be bad. Try the gpu in your old system or another system to see if it will still work. If it does, Only try one stick of ram in the new system. Also try the gpu in multiple slots.

As stated already, Ryzen chips don't have an iGPU built in, at least until Zen tech gets put into an APU.

Have you double checked all your power connections? A failure to connect them all can result in a system that won't boot, show video, or will be just plain unstable if it does boot and show video. You have at least two for the motherboard (a long 24-pin connector and a four or eight pin connector, required for extra and correct power to the CPU. Peripherals also have their own connection to power, but that wouldn't stop the video. Another thing that will stop the video is just plugging it into the motherboard AND not plugging in the extra power connector on the GPU card.

Also check your waterblock to make sure it is on the CPU and snug enough... AND make sure the fans for the radiator and the pump are all plugged in. (the fans on the radiator not working would at least POST... More than likely would POST but not run very long if the pump wasn't working right, but make sure they're all good and running anyway. BTW: you say water-cooled, what cooler do you have?

Okay... Be sure to check all your power connections just to eliminate that. Do you have a speaker hooked up to the motherboard? (It may look a little like a buzzer) If yes, when you power-on, does it make any sounds?
