After having a hard time taking out my GPU for cleaning, I noticed the top half of one gold contact missing.
Now I experience weird frame drops from 60+fps (for most of the time) to an instant 30fps. Its not my internet ping since that stayed at a constant 12-14.
Is the half missing contact a possible reason for the frame drop? Or is it something else? Should I worry about the missing gold contact piece?

I haven't overclocked it
The game was Overwatch (Fully optimized)
No programs were running in the background
*I rechecked that the missing gold contacts ARE normal*
*After I took out the GPU I noticed that the latch that locks in my GPU was broken* Could it be the solution that I just reseat it in another PCIe slot???
