i need help to upgrade my gpu with the currect apu i have. i play csgo and i want to record at the same time but all the settings in game are lowest and still it drops to 20-30 when record starts. I want to upgrade my gpu. after doing some research i am sure there is only two options. its possible to upgrade a discrete GPU. are these the final options left to upgrade? Radeon HD 6570 and HD 6670. if so, will this be working? i need real help please help me out

Solution
yea pretty much any GPU should fit if your have 2 expansion slots available and depending on your case.
Make sure your PSU has enough watts and the correct plugs for the card you chose.

well i wanna keep my apu but is there a way to have apu and still mange to upgrade the gpu?

I think you'd be better off using a dedicated videocard and not using the integrated graphics. Everyone always wants to pair their inferior integrated graphics or old videocard with the new videocard lol. Look, if that worked well EVERYONE would be doing it. I have 3 old videocards sitting here in boxes, if they added up to something I'd have them in my system right now.

I looked around and it seems at least some FM2 motherboards have a UEFI bios. If yours does, then you can choose from something like a 460 to a 1050 or 1050 Ti. I will point out that CSGO is somewhat sensitive to CPU performance, so if that's your game and since you only have an AMD APU which is not meant for gaming, I'd say a 1050 is the most that you should buy. Recording takes CPU cycles, that's why your performance takes a hit when you record. Nvidia, via Shadowplay, is pretty good for recording and/or streaming. I think a 1050 would be just what you need, provided you have the UEFI bios.

Yea keep the a10-6800k, you can use that and buy a modern GPU like a 460 or a 1050
Your not limited to the 6570 and the 6670 those just work in dual graphics with your APU.
But either of those cards in dual graphics is FAR weaker than a 460 is what i was getting at...

aright thanks man, i though i was stuck on 6570 and 6670 but now i've realised that those two are the one to crossfire with my apu thanks man. now so thats clear it should mean that when i buy a modern gpu i have to check if it supported by PSU and motherboard. I have PCI16 slot on my mother board meaning any GPU is suitable right?
