I need a cpu for editing and sony vegas pro 13(in 60fps), i also will be gaming and i have got a 1080ti. What should i get?

Solution
If you're doing a lot of editing then I would suggest a Ryzen CPU. Double the cores and threads will do you better for rendering times. Various benchmarks have already proven the Ryzen chips to be monster editors at a great price. The 7700K will also work but falls short on editing when comparing it to a Ryzen. For gaming, the 7700k would do you better.

Which activity is your top priority? Both CPUs can do both things and do them reasonably well. However the higher core-count of the 1800x would do better for most editing and rendering tasks while the more efficient cores of the 7700k would get you a few more FPS.
