Hi guys,

I went to https://registrationcenter.intel.com/en/ to register my intel cpu product for warranty, but when i key in the serial number (from the paper box), it says invalid serial number. The serial number of my processor has 13 characters but it requires 12 characters. When I type in 12 characters, it says serial number does not exist. How do I register my processor?

Solution
You really do not need to register your cpu.
In the event of a cpu failure, the Intel rma process will require your s spec number which is both on the box and on the cpu itself.
Among other things, the s-spec identifies the plant and date of manufacture.
From that, they calculate your 3 year warranty.
