Hello all is this a good gaming PC?

I want to play games at 1080p at max to medium settings at 60 fps

Games I will be playing
Fallout 1-4
Skyrim
Overwatch
Battlefield 1
Star wars the old republic
CS:GO
Assassins creed
And more!

So please if that is not a good PC or if it needs some improvements!

Here's an alternative $1000 Kaby Lake + GTX 1060 Build with SSD

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($234.49 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG M9i 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($17.99 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270P-D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($107.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Avexir Core Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($55.15 @ Amazon)
Storage: PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($79.99 @ Jet)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($46.88 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GT OCV1...
-no need to get a "k" CPU with a board that doesn't support OC
-kaby lake gonna need bios update to work on skylake board (I'd get an i5 6500)
-iffy power supply
-I'd get 16 GB RAM
-No need for cooler if you get an i5 6500 and such
-maybe put more money on a better PSU

If I got a 6600k cpu and a better motherboard and 16 gb of ram also a better power supply what motherboard would you recommend?

I concede

I'd get a Z270/B250 motherboard (instead of the H110) to eliminate any possible issues of incompatibility using older gen motherboards with newer gen Kaby Lake CPUs. Some older-gen motherboards though, IF manufactured AFTER the release of the Kaby Lake, **may** have an updated BIOS already to support such CPUs out-of-the-box. But some do not.

Note that getting a B250 motherboard will not support overclocking, so, an appropriate CPU would be a non-K version. If you want overclocking, get the Z270 motherboard and pair that with your i5-7600K.

If you're just overclocking a bit, the Hyper 212 EVO would suffice. But if you want more OC, I'd suggest getting a more powerful air cooler such as the Cryorig H7, Cryorig R1, or be quiet! Dark Pro 3 (depends on what will fit in your chassis).

If budget permits, I'd get a 2x8GB (16GB total) RAM at 2400MHz min. speeds.

Again, if budget permits, I'd throw in an SSD in there for faster boot times and loading times. Say, a ~250GB SSD for your OS, programs, and frequently-used games; and pair that with a 1TB or 2TB HDD for your general storage and seldom-used games.

The GTX 1060 is a good choice for 1080p gaming at 60fps.

I'd choose a better quality / longer warranty PSU, of appropriate wattage to power your rig. If you like EVGA, I'd look into getting the EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W or EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W (fully-modular; 7-year warranty). An alternative would be the Seasonic G-550 550W (semi-modular; 5-year warranty). These are all good-quality and reliable PSUs than the EVGA 600B.

Hope these suggestions would help.
