I have just purchased new ddr3 16gb of ram (hyper-x fury). I was expecting I performance buff but nothing has really changed.
My PC specs:
.processor-Amd A10-7860k
.Graphics card-Radeon R7
.Ram-16gb 1600mhz

Solution

This R7 gpu is embedded in that cpu/apu,you might, and probably will, have better performance if choosing higher speed ram, like 2133mhz or even 2400mhz,depending on what the motherboard supports as well.
Maybe you can send it back for other higher speed ram ...

More RAM won't translate into better performance unless you're actually using more than you had before. If your last setup had 8GB and you were using all 8 and experience issues then 16GB would resolve the issue.

There are more factors to consider when wanting better performance such as your boot drive, CPU, or GPU. What are you trying boost performance with? Do you have an SSD?
