My old graphics card got screwed. So I was thinking of getting a new one. I am on a low budget so I was thinking if the 8gb version is worth the extra 50$... I have seen fps tests and both cards provide pretty similar performance. Its just about future proofing now... I will be using this card for the next 2-3 years... Will I be able to play the upcoming games during this period in ultra @ 40+ fps in 1080p in the 4gb version ? Or should I somehow increase my budget and get the 8gb version ?

So which one to go for ? ASUS Dual-Fan Radeon Rx 480 4GB OC Edition or Sapphire Radeon NITRO Rx 480 4GB GDDR5... both are about the same price... and btw there is Gigabyte Radeon Rx 480 G1 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 for 5$ less

In 95% of the 1750 Mhz clocked ones you can't OC the memory to 2000 Mhz without getting tons of memory errors, causing performance to be actually lower than compared to 1750 Mhz, even though It's stable.

Sapphire Nitro.

Out of all the cards discussed I would easily choose the Gigabyte card.

However imo you should sink more money into your CPU instead of the motherboard.

Which case are you considering? Motherboard? Where would we look to see what is available in your region?
