Hello, I have a real issue with my current rig that was built in november 2016, it's been working perfectly fine until couple of days ago suddenly while i was watching a stream on twitch not even stressing the cpu and stuff too much (via google chrome) my cpu fan which is Thermalright Macho Rev.B went really really really noisy and loud and started spinning really really really fast and from that point my monitor just died and it kept saying there is no signal and i still could hear the audio of the stream i was watching.here u can see info about my temperatures : http://imgur.com/a/jlFfv

In the beginning I had set all the fans to speed to performance mode including the backside fan and the fan placed in front of the case [I got 2 stock fans from the fractal design define R5 case (no window version) ] + the cpu cooler on performance mode spinning too.I thought this is the problem so I set everything back to normal mode and loaded the default settings of the bios, saved and restarded, pc was running fine and in 30-40 min boom the same thing with the fast and loud fans spinning and monitor dying thing happend.

my whole rig consists of

1.mobo - asrock z170 gaming k4
2.cpu - intel core i7-6700k (4.0 ghz) (it's never been oc-ed yet)
3.gpu - gigabyte gtx 1060 gaming g1 6gb 192 bit (never been oc either)
4.ram 16 gb ( 2x8 by corsair vengeance 2400 mhz)
5.power supply - Corsair RM550x 550W GOLD CP-9020090-EU
6.ssd crucial mx300 275 gb
7.cpu cooler - thermalright macho rev b
8.1 tb hdd from my old rig

Last thing I did was taking out that bios battery out and placing it again in 5 minutes or so so the bios can reset its settings completely, I personally have no idea what to do guys, please if u know anything about this issue share so i can get it fixed.

ps : I have set everything on the nvidia control settings to performance mode and gaming mode for highest performance if that matters

Honorable
so when you press the power button your pc.. what happens ? everything works bar the display ? also did you try connecting your monitor to the on board gpu instead of the dedicated gpu ? see if the problem persists?

When the heavy fast and loud fan spinning thing happens my monitor just dies and I just click on the restart button on my case and it's all good after that for a while then again in like 30-40 minutes sometimes less that spinning starts again.

thanks for ur reply i will try to do that thing with the gpu connection.
