a good deal

Yes that would be a much MUCH better way to play AAA games! I would definitely recommend getting the GTX 750 Ti (if that is the best price you can find it, and if that is the best GPU you can find for that price).

The good thing about the Q6600 is it can usually be overclocked to match the faster C2Qs. I don't know if your motherboard allows it or if you have sufficient cooling for it, but it's worth looking in to. Just don't go spending a lot of money on overclocking or else you could just buy a better CPU.

My motherboard can support c2d and c2q ....the problem is that eBay isn't in our country ...as eBay only accepts PayPal which is blocked or isn't accesable in my country( Nepal) ....so in local website the c2d e8400 was for rs2000 (20$)...

Don't really find much c2q but one I found for 45$ ( old) while new costs like 120$!!!currently I have e4400 ...would it be good to change it with e8400??

You might see a little boost in performance and responsiveness in basic tasks such as web browsing and word processing.

Are you gaming? If so I'd say it's not worth it. The Core 2 Quad for $45 might be worth it if you want to game.

What do you expect to do with this system?

The GT 610 would be holding you back. Definitely below AAA game requirements. Most new AAA games would only run at 10-15fps. If you are using the GT 610, I don't think any CPU upgrade will help you very much.

Please list your upgrade budget and all of your current system specs and the brand and model if it is a pre-built PC. This will better help me guide you in your upgrades.
