PC doesn't recognize GPU at start

So every day I start up my computer but my GPU isn't recognized by my computer. The other day I would turn it on and off and it would recognize immediately but it never recognizes it at the start up of every day and I don't know why please help

A gtx 1060 u say...Is the 6 pin connector connected to the GPU? If so...Tell me more details about the PSU such as brand,watt..

Holy sh...That's nice....U did insert it into the pcie slot properly right...What display connector are u using then...dvi-d or HDMI or display port....And they are connected properly right?

Wait...Do you mean HDMI to VGA...Because there's​ no VGA connector on the GPU..If it's HDMI to VGA then it must be a passive adapter because HDMI is digital and VGA is non digital you will need a ACTIVE adapter...

Wait u connect it to the monitor....that's weird...Most people do it the opposite way... Connecting to the GPU then the monitor...Well I think your adapter is a passive and not a Active adapter...Get the one I link to u and connect it to the gpu
