So as the title describes, I'm curious on to what brand name 1080 ti (when the come out) is the best in your opinion, or if just a founders edition 1080 ti is sufficent (it is a 1080 ti after all). Sorry if I respond late and thank you in advance if I personally forget to do so!

So everything except founders edition (EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte, etc.)? People say it'll take a month or so for them to come out, that sound about accurate?

my opinion the founders edition usually runs hotter and louder

a month after the founders edition release?

not so sure it will take as long

because its not strictly a new architecture just a new card in the current architecture

so my opinion--though its only an educated guess

the custom cooler ones wont be far behind the founders edition release

+Elementalfury It's hard to answer your initial question because I don't know what your criteria is. (e.g. highest stock overclock, sound level, etc). For me personally, I'd love to get my hands on an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti hybrid; with an All-In-One cooler. I believe that it comes with a 120mm radiator, that requires mounting in your case. EVGA had two models of it. My guess is that they had differing factoring overclocks, modified shrouds and possibly LED lighting on one of the models.

I just like the idea that I don't have to be concerned with temperatures with this card. There are plenty or reviews about the previous generation 980 Ti hybrid, if you care to know the specifics.

Forgot to mention I'm quite the newbie to this stuff. What do you mean by hybrid, and how does one go about mounting such a graphics card to my case?

Also how long to you expect for a 1080 ti like that would come to the market?

hybrid card means basically they stuck a 120mm all in one liquid cooler on it

usually the radiator for that would go on the rear exhaust fan mount

though might just reach a top of the case fan mount never used one so not sure if the tubing would be long enough

the hybrid card started when modders came up with the idea of slapping a corsair or similar AIO on their graphics cards
