I was wondering is it possible to do so? I have 5GHz Rocket M5 but wanting to install with RD-2G24 (24dbi 2.4GHz Dish Antenna). Any effects?

Well actually yes you can, but it is a very bad idea as your RF output will be poor and you are much better off with the correct antenna for your intended frequency.

A proper antenna is optimized based on the specific wavelength, which obviously directly correlates to the frequency), and the internal elements of the antenna are usually a specific fraction of the target wavelength like 1/4 or 1/8.

For a more detailed explanation on why it is a bad idea, read the section called practical implications of SWR HERE, and you will see that you increase power requirements significantly with poor RF output and increased reflective power that can damage your transmitter.
