hello everyone 
currently im going to buy a new gaming monitor cus i cant stand the Samsung S23E650 anymore because it only has VGA DVI and DisplayPort but the monitor i want is the ASUS VG248QE. It has HDMI 1.4, DVI-D Dual-Link and DisplayPort v1.2 but i have heard you cannot achieve 144hz with every hdmi cable and i don't know if i can get 144hz with DP 1.2, A VGA cable with a DVI adapter (DVI-I to VGA) or what dual link is so anyone got any suggestions? can i use a normal DVI-D cable with DVI-D Dual-Link or can i get 144hz with a displayport 1.2 for 10 bucks?
so should i go for a DisplayPort or DVI-D Dual-Link?
