The front port headphone jack(GN) is only putting out audio through one ear, on my headset.
i know its not the Headset because I've tried with two Turtle Beaches and the iphone headset to no avail.
I also know its not a balancing problem, I've made sure to check many times ive even re installed the sound drivers just in case still only one, I've checked the wires going to the MOB and it seems right, I have done all i know how.

The MOB: B150 pc mate MSI
The case(Which has the jack in question):Apevia X-Hermes

I had a similar issue with my front panel headphone jack using astro a40s, but instead of only playing through 1 side, it played through both sides, but in a mono configuration with a hissing sound, if pushed the jack in and held it there it worked fine but as soon as i released it went back. You should try either; reinstalling motherboard audio drivers (whether it be from the cd included in mobo box, or via msi's website) or buy an audio extender cable and use the back panel audio jack (what i had to do with my astros, however they came with an extender)

NB, assuming the headset had a mic, does it plug in with two jacks (one for headset sound, other for mic) or one jack (mic and sound combined into one jack) with the tip of the jack...

If it is the latter, DO NOT USE ANY OF THE PC'S AUDIO JACKS. The ones for the pc do not cater for the combined jack and can damage the audio ports on the computer, buy a splitter (combined jack to mic and sound) cable and use that in the back mic and headphone jack
