if is bios make sure you connect power lead to card, check is your power supply wattage sufficient to run the card
beeping might be caused as well by stuck button on keyboard

i have a 400 watt power psu and about the logo screen start up of hp blue screen then beeps then goes black then shows what graphics card is in then nothing it shuts off the gtx 960 requires 400 watts are greater

Requirements

400 Watt or greater power supply.****
PCI Express, PCI Express 2.0 or PCI Express 3.0 compliant motherboard with one graphics slot. Mine is pci express x16 2.0 the funniest shit is the graphics card thats in it gtx 650 ti boost requires 450 watt but i was running it on 300 watt before then upgraded to 400 watts and this gtx 960 cant run off 400 watts?

Hello... There are many Voltages in a Computer Power supply... The CPU and GPU needs the +12Vdc rail current from the Power Supply... 400 watts is the total of all power circuits. So can you post a digital of the PS label, on a img post site, or give us the Web page of your Model/Brand, and we can evaluate if this might be the reason?

Hello... i5 3470s=65 watts... so you got 185 watts out of 192 watts needed from the +12vDC rail for just the GPU and CPU... that cutting it too close and could be the Boot problem here. B /

Yes... the Power Supply"requirements" are not very clear when it comes to Video cards, the GTX 650 TI is listed as 110 watts.

Does the 650 TI boot with this Power supply?
