hey guys, i got this pc since like 2012 or so.. i5 2500k ( had a 6950 2gb directcuu ) now got a gtx 1060 3gb. problem is that when i turn off pc, and i try to power it up, it doesnt work, leds on my p8p67 evo are up but nothing happen, i have all time to TRY to revive it... it's a power supply problem right? .. plus, i never changed thermal paste on my i5 2500k. time to change it right? i got some fps problem on ow and league of legends....

Solution
Old thermal paste isn't going to make it not boot. My 2500k is still running the original paste with the same temps. If temps were fine before, it won't change from a gpu change. The 1060 uses less power than the 6950 so it shouldn't be a psu issue. Can you put the old gpu back in? It might be a doa gpu.

I would change the thermal paste out just for good measure. If you can't turn on the PC then make sure it's the PSU by using a PSU tester tool. If you don't have one, then you can buy or make one. (If you make one then make sure you watch tutorials).
