Just as the title says, I put it all together and when I boot it up I get error codes 00, 16, 30, and 4C. Not sure if 00 is actually one or it just cycles through it automatically, but those are the numbers I see on my motherboard. Before I go on, here are the specs:

i7 6700 Skylake
Asrock Z270 Gaming K6
16gb Jawskillz Ram
850watt PSU
WD 1TB Performance HD
Azza Solano Case

I've tried reseating the RAM, trying one stick at a time, booting without ram... Booting without RAM makes my computer beep three times. When I boot it with the RAM, the mobo lights up green for around half a second and then turns red. When I power on I get the errorcode sequence. I haven't tried reseating the CPU yet as I don't want to handle it too much and my friend is saying that you gotta clean the paste off and reapply it every time. I wouldn't have a problem doing that, and haven't checked for bent pins.

Basically I just want to take every measure I can before having to resort to handling the CPU anymore. If I have already, I guess I have no choice, but this is my first build, but I have been around computers for a long time, so I wouldn't call myself a newbie... But I am a newbie to actually building them. Granted, this one hasn't gone ideally, but hopefully can be saved.

Thanks in advance for the help.

So I took a good look at the motherboard and it looks like two pins are bent to the right where the CPU sits. I'm guessing that's the problem. Gonna try to straighten them out and try to boot again.
