As the title suggests im curious what Intel has planned for the next year or two. Im trying to make my i5-4690k last until mid 2018 ish if possible and im thinking about what my options will be by then.
Since AMD just released their 8 cores and Intel isn't really doing much more than price drops im losing hope fast. Has Intel got some crazy plans that im missing out on? or is it as bad as it looks?
Note: Im not fanboying here, i have no problem with switching to AMD in the future but im just wondering if Intel will have anything going on soon.
Note 2: I know i cant expect people to know everything, but im sure there has been leaks.
