Samsung SSD Magician Secure Erase Question

I just followed the Samsung Magician Secure Erase Instructions both online and on the Secure Erase program to erase my Samsung 840 Pro before I sell it. The instructions said to disconnect both the power and data cables to unfreeze it so that I can wipe it clean, since I used this SSD for my OS on my old build. I did what they said and I wiped the SSD, although it took three attempts of unplugging and reconnecting before I figured out that I was supposed to continue with the next step of Secure Erase instead of starting the program over. The instructions were not well written in my opinion. I only did the unplugging and re-plugging of the SSD to unfreeze it while in the Samsung Secure Erase Boot disk mode where the instructions were displayed and not in Windows mode. My computer seems to be running fine so far. However, since I just rebuilt my gaming PC, I am concerned that the procedure I followed may have damaged my computer's other components. The power cable that I used on the SSD had multiple power plugs which were connected to my newer Samsung 850 Evo SSD and another hard drive. I have learned over the years to be cautious when working on my computer's components. I have never heard of a procedure requiring to disconnect or reconnect an internal component while the computer is running. Did I unknowingly damage any components? Thanks in advance.
