Dear community!
I recently purchased an xilence chipset cooler for my gigabyte 970 mobo since the northbridge chipset was running on 85 degrees C under OC load.
To protect the small parts around the surface meant to be cooled on the chip I used the adhesive thermal patch included in the box of the cooler (no instructions though).
My question is:
Can the glue on the adhesive patch short and fry the little components? Is that kind of glue conductive?
Thanks for the help!
