Everywhere I search, there're only 1.35v RAMs for Laptops but not for Desktops
My friend actually gave me a 8GB Kingston FuryX. I tried to use it but it doesn't work. CPU-Z recognized it but it doesn't add up to the total RAM. So I assumed that it is because of the voltage. (The FuryX is 1.5v but the Hyundai Electronic one is 1.35v)
My Computer is HP Pavilion 150-155l
The memory upgrade information from HP support:
Dual channel memory architecture
Two 240-pin DDR3 DIMM sockets
Supports the following:
PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DIMMs
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
