First of all, I just wanna say that I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong section. I didn't know where to put it but when I read some answers but I'd assume it has with motherboards to do.

Me and my dad were cleaning the inside of my computer which we had done twice before without a problem. But then when we were to put the part of the case that we took off too be able to touch the inside of the computer the cable connecting the case's side fan got loose. And we didn't know where it was before. We looked for a while and saw a n unplugged cable with note saying "top fan2", so I plugged in my fan's wire into that wire but when I started my PC it didn't work.

Also, what is the fan on the left side if you're facing it from the front called? Because the one I connected my fan's wire to has a note saying top fan2, but I'm not sure if that's the right one. I only spotted 3 fans (except my gpu's and cpu's). Those fans were the rear one, one on the front (which I'd assume is top fan1) and the one on the side (which I think is top fan2) I need to know this to connect it to the right cable to make it work again. Thanks for any help I can get!

Update: I double checked and I accidentally read the wrong note due to confusing placing of it in contrast to the cabling (the cables were like twisted around each other with two notes, one hidden (that was connected to the cable connected to my fan) and one easily spotted that was for the rear fan. I'm stating to believe that the fan might be broken. I hope not as I'm not good at building PCs.

Thanks again if you can help me!

Tell me if you need photos if you don't understand what I'm saying I'm glad to do anything I can to fix this because now my PC is at 60 degrees Celsius while it was 55-60 before we decided to clean it and around 45 after we had cleaned it the other times.
