BACKSTORY:
So this is my first PC build I've ever done, and I honestly don't know what I'm doing. What I do know is that I can't get the rendering power necessary to run Premiere Pro, Nuendo 6, even Audacity, at the same time while either trying to render or manage effects (or even just keep the systems up.) I want a computer that will last a long time, so I figured I would build.

TOO LONG; DIDN'T READ:
Please tell me if this build makes sense for exceptional video editing capabilities:

    1) Intel i7 7th 7700k
    2) Noctua NH-L12 120mm & 92mm SSO Bearing PWM Fans CPU Cooler
    3) Agus ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX
    4) GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
    5) Crucial MX300 2.5" 1TB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive
    6) WD Red 3TB NAS Hard Disk Drive (wanted extra storage, is this the right idea?)
    7) CORSAIR RMx Series RM750X 750W 80 PLUS GOLD PSU
    8) CORSAIR Vengeance 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 for Intel 100

I was going to case it all up in the In Win 303 White SECC Steel/Tempered Glass Case, everything looks to me like it will fit.

Thank you all for reading and helping,

V/r,

Solution
I usually use Intel but I think this might be one of those times when the new Ryzen cpus from AMD would serve you better. They have 8 cores with 16 threads so multitasking will be good, and from what little I know about video editing and rendering the more cores and threads the better.
