Like the title says, I have about 8GB of RAM, but its quite old. I think it's,
2x4 DDR3-1333 In slots 1 and 3.
Not sure on the brand name. But someone on here recommended,

But that was awhile ago, and I was looking into upgrading my PC. But I need to upgrade it now, so just wanted some last minute opinions. (Mainly upgrading because I run an ARK server, while playing ARK with my brother, and I think it really slows it down only having 8GB.
Also with Shadow Of War coming out, recommending 16GB, I can't see a better time to upgrade. So hyped for that game!!
But yeah, back to the RAM.
I have a ASRock Z77 Pro3, so I think I can only go up to DDR3 RAM. But I know very little about ram, like would it be best to get 2x8, or 4x4 RAM? And if I did get 2x8 GB ram, would that work with my already 2x4? Or do I need to take the 2x4 out?
And I have no idea where to look at prices. I'm not poor, and 100 bucks for the 16GB doesn't bother me. But if there is a competitive brand, that offers it for like, 80 bucks. I wouldn't mind that either! (quality over price though, to a point!)
