So yesterday I was looking into overclocking my FX-8350 since I just bought a scythe mugen 4 because my stock cooler was too loud during gaming. The tempratures dropped a lot with this cooler around 35 degrees during heavy gaming, so I figured I might be able to overclock this thing a bit.
Even though I do have experience with hardware, I always have build my own rigs and swapped hardware since I was 15 and I am 27 now, I never really looked into overclocking.
Now I looked up some information but I couldnt find a specific explanation about overclocking on my motherboard. So I followed a video on youtube which uses another motherboard than mine. My motherboard does support overclocking but it might not be as fancy as the motherboard they used in that video.
The problem was that all the names of the settings in the BIOS had a different name. I found most of the settings as something similar, but like half of the settings that nowhere to be found on my BIOS.
I set everything that I could figure out to the correct setting, and overclocked my cpu to 4400 ghz. I started and the pc worked fine my temperatures were around 30 something below 40 (dont remember exactly). But when I ran prime95 2 workers stopped and it bluescreened my pc after 5 seconds.
Is my motherboard maybe not good enough for overclocking? Or could I be missing an important setting in my BIOS?
The manufacturer says it should be fine for overclocking, but I think 4400 shouldnt be bluescreening after 5 seconds in prime95 and I do not think I should already start messing with my voltages at 4400ghz right? Is there somebody that succesfully overclocked on this motherboard?

GTX 770
Scythe Mugen 4
OCZ powerstream 620 watt
