Hi, I was thinking about getting a NZXT S340 Elite case and I noticed that it only comes with 2 exhaust fans. One in the back and one on top. Both are 120mm airflow optimized fans. I heard a lot of people online complaining about components getting too hot in that specific case (especially the GPU) so I was thinking about buying some extra fans for it too (1 or 2 intake fans on the front).

The problem is that I don't know what sort of fans I would buy (Airflow or Static pressure fans) and what the best fan configuration for this case is. My case will be fully air cooled btw. I will not have a radiator (or anything else) blocking the front of the case (on the inside). I would buy a Airflow optimized fan in a heart beat if it wasn't for the big front case cover blocking air from coming in directly, but there are 2 gaps on the bottom and top of the front face cover that allow air to pass through (as seen here: http://www.pcgameware.co.uk/images/NZXT-S340-Elite-top.jpg there is a gap on the bottom as well). I just don't know if these gaps are too small to let air pass through flawlessly to the Airflow fans in the front or if I would need a static pressure fan instead.

Also should I get 2 120mm fans or 1 140mm fan (or possibly 2 140mm fans)?

I'd set it up by adding 2x 140mm Airflow fans at front as intake.

Here's a nice test video using different fan quantities/configurations in a typical PC case with air cooling and their corresponding temperature readings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OmkmluAYAQ

0 Case Fans (Air Cooler Only) = CPU: 71C | GPU: 92C
1 Rear (Exhaust) Fan = CPU: 64C | GPU: 85C
1 Top (Exhaust) Fan = CPU: 65C | GPU: 83C
1 Front (Intake) Fan = CPU: 67C | GPU: 80C
1 Front (Intake) Fan + 1 Rear (Exhaust) Fan = CPU: 60C | GPU: 79C
2 Front (Intake) Fans + 1 Rear (Exhaust) Fan = CPU: 58C | GPU: 77C
2 Front (Intake) Fans + 1 Rear (Exhaust) Fan + 1 Top (Exhaust) Fan = CPU: 55C | GPU: 76C
2 Front (Intake) Fans + 1 Rear (Exhaust) Fan + 2 Top (Exhaust) Fans = CPU: 55C | GPU: 76C <-- Adding 1 top fan = no effect as above

Do you think the front face panel would hinder the Airflow fans in any way (so much that it would be more beneficial to get a static pressure fan) or no?

The fans I was thinking about getting are the Fractal Design Venturi HF-14 (http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/casefans/venturi-series/venturi-hf-14). It has a insane amount of CFM (118.2 according to specs, but closer to 135 in benchmarks) but it also has a very low amount of static pressure (max is 0.95 mm H2O) and I am worried that it doesn't have enough pressure to push the air through the dust filter and the rest of the case (I know jack shit about airflow though)
