Hi,

I have a Toshiba laptop with the following spec

E1-1200 APU 1.4GHz

Radeon HD 7130 gfx

4GB RAM

Win 7 x64 fresh install with all latest drivers from AMD website using the auto detect program

Should it be able to play Go Pro Full HD video? At the moment it stutters between frames and then just displays a grey screen for a bit. I'm using vlc to play the files

I've asked on the AMD support forum but days later its still waiting for a moderator to approve it....

Thanks

yes it h264 - mpeg4 avc

It cant even play a 720p go pro file either

When I play it, VLC goes to 70-80% in task manager, but shouldnt the graphics card be doing the work here not just the cpu?

I know this processor is slow and rubbish, but I was always under the impression that the AMD graphics cards were good enough for full HD and certainly 720p, its almost as if the driver isnt installed even though device manager says it is

I've tried WMP as well, and its even worse in that, just a black screen

I'm going to see if I can find an old SD divx file and try that, it should be able to play that....
