For a while I've had a two-monitor setup with this card: an ASUS FreeSync as a main one connected via DP and a Dell as a secondary connected via HDMI. My build had the annoying habit of turning itself on every night (must be something in the ASRock BIOS that I haven't yet been bothered to figure out how to turn off), but it was manageable as it would just sit there with the primary monitor on, waiting for me to either use it or turn it off. That was until I replaced the Dell with an HP Omen 32-incher (couldn't resist a refurb deal for $240), connected via DP. It worked when initially turned on, so I didn't think anything of it. However, now more often than not, when it auto-starts, I arrive on scene to find both monitors in sleep mode, the GPU fan spinning wildly and the PC refusing to come out of its slumber. When I do a hard reset, it usually works (although not always and does so better when the Omen is unplugged).
Does this sound familiar at all? And if so, what could be the issue?
