Hello, I'm looking for a compromise between noise and performance as I need to replace my 7 year old Samsung F3's (one has started to make disturbing noises :( ). I need a 2TB drive for games/storage that's as quiet as possible. I'm torn between WD Blue WD20EZRZ and Seagate ST2000DM006. I've read both are relatively quiet but of course it's difficult to judge from opinions on the internet and youtube videos. My PC is very quiet (SSD, passive idle GPU, all fans <500rpm) and HDD is going to be definitely the loudest component so every decibel counts. Thanks.

Well if I was willing to spend $550 I wouldn't be looking at HDDs now would I? I have SSD for my system and programs, I don't want to waste $500 to store movies and 5 games...
