my current system is

asus z97 maximuis ranger iiv mothetboard
corsair 2 x 8gb ddr3 ram 1600mhz
i5 4690k at 3.5ghz
msi gtx 980ti
xfx 850watt core edition psu

i currently use my msi gtx 980ti for gaming at 2k and sometimes older titles at 4k maxed, my question is , will a gtx 1080ti be better at 4k gaming then a gtx 980ti , will i be able to run new titles at 4k maxed out at 60hz

Clarifying answer...

The GTX 1080 Ti is a suitable match for your monitor (Asus PB287Q). You should be able to play a few games at 4k but dont expect it from all new AAA games. For playing GTA V and other games like that you will be fine though.

Hope this helps :)

Hey mate,

The GTX 1080 Ti is faster than the 980 Ti and can handle 4K gaming well, judging by it being in the top GPU's at the moment I would say that you should be good with most games you play at 4K 60fps.

Hope this helps :)
