Ok, I have an ASUS X-series laptop, it has 4 GIGS of RAM, it's cpu is the intel celeron n2380 with the socket FCBGA1170, is there any way that i can switch out the cpu with a different one? And if not, would it just be easier to get a whole new motherboard and get a cpu based on that? However, if i can possibly get in the BIOS to overclock it a little, how do I do that?

Solution
No you can't upgrade the CPU. Not much on a laptop can be upgraded, you just buy a new one.

I also don't recommend overclocking it since laptops run hot as it is so you wouldn't get much out of it.
