Looking for a compact ATX PSU for a small case

I'm looking for a new PSU in the ATX form factor for my relatively small case - a Rajintek Styx. It has to be shorter than 160mm in length, otherwise it will collide with the GPU.
Because the case is already quite cramped with 2 HDDs and a big cooler I am looking for a fully modular (or at least partly modular) solution with preferably short cables. Flat cables would also be a big plus and are certainly prefered over the thick, stiff cables I have now.

As for power and efficency I am not sure.
So far the Systems consists of a overclocked i7 2600k, a gtx 1060 and several HDDs / SSDs / Fans.
Upgrade plans for the future are a vega or 1080ti style card, so power consumption here will increase. I'm not looking into a dual GPU system however.
Otherwise there is probably a Zen upgrade coming, but that shouldnt change the power consumption.

For Efficiency: I want a decently quit system, especially when in idle. When gaming low noise would be nice, but a GPU is probably louder than a PSU anyways (although right now I've got a louder GPU cooler)

Budget doesnt really matter, as long as it stays reasonable.

According to the link you provided -

STYX / STYX CLASSIC
STYX, RAIJINTEK’s new aluminum Micro ATX case, has a remarkable elegant appearance design and high compatibility with your PC system. STYX is compatible with regular/ standard ATX Power supply.

Any standard ATX power supply will fit.

A tough problem.
Assuming your requirements are truly as stated:
1. LESS than 160mm
2. ATX format
3. Able to handle a GTX1080ti which will be 600w
4. Modular. Note that a modular psu will have relatively stiff connectors at the psu end. Fixed cables will give you more room.

My best suggestion is a SeaSonic S12G-750 which is 5.51" long or 140mm

A similarly sized 650w unit that is priced better is the SeaSonic S12II Series S12II 620

It needs to be less than 160, right now my PSU is exactly that length and is in contact with the edge of the GPU. A longer GPU will collide with the PSUs cables.
So far I've considered the Cooler Master V750

and the silverstone strider series.

Its also available with gold efficency.
Im buying in germany, so the prices are as follows:
The Cooler master 750W one: 101 Euro - slightly cheaper than the 650W version
and the Silverstones: Gold, 650W - 105 Euro or Platinum 650W - 125 Euro
Are those extra 20 Euro worth it for the higher efficency?
Any experiences, advice, etc. especially with the Cooler master PSU?
