Greetings, for a while now i've been having random reboots from my computer after a while of gaming. (rust)

I cleaned my compuer but did not apply thermal paste/did a CPU stress test with prime95 and now i did a GPU stress test with furmark.

I was getting 70c with gpu usage hitting 100% but my fan was stuck at 35%

Have no clue what to do,any help will be great.

Thanks in advance!

What is your PSU? I noticed the critical error, the one that likely caused the shut down says "Kernel-Power". You might be able to get more info on it, but a shutdown would be consistent with a weak/failing PSU.

Could simply be the fact you're not breaking the thermal threshold that requires your fans to spin faster on the GPU. 70C is normal range for most cards. 80C is getting on the higher end, but still safe. 90C is getting HOT and cards generally start to throttle when they hit these temps. If you're 95C+, then something clearly is very wrong and needs addressing right away.

I don't see any issue with your card running 70C. If it bothers you that much, you can install MSI Afterburner and use the fan control for it to manually set fan speed settings for specific temps.

It would have been helpful to name the GPU. No GPU however is going to be bothered by 70C, throttling on current nVidia 10xx series cards starts at about 82C.

I doubt GPU cooling is the source of your problems, fan speed is at 35% simply because the fan control is doing exactly what it is supposed to do.... minimize noise until a point is reached where more air flow is needed to prevent throttling.

Each time you system crashes, one or more of these things happen:

a) An entry is made in the Windows system log which details the cause of the failure. Do a web source on the error message for solutions. You can view the system log with "Windows Event Viewer".

b) A blue screen occurs with a stop error code (i.e. 0 x 00000124) . Do a web source on the code for solutions. If you system auto reboots after a crash w/o displaying this code, do a web search on "Disable Windows Auto Restart".

c) A minidump file is created. You can use a utility to view this file

Windows event viewer shows a kernel-power critical error with the event id 41

And no,only the game and discord.

EDIT: screenshot of the event viewer http://prntscr.com/ejktgf

EDIT: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2028504/windows-kernel-event-id-41-error-the-system-has-rebooted-without-cleanly-shutting-down-first-in-windows-8.1,-windows-8,-windows-server-2012-r2,-windows-server-2012,-windows-7,-or-windows-server-2008-r2
The above mentions that one of the reasons you could get that error is due to an insufficient or failing PSU.
