Will I get audio after installing my new gpu?

Hey guys I just want to know that if I will get audio after installing my new graphics card
which is arriving in some days. I have heard some people say that they don't get sound after they install their graphics card. Btw I am NOT going to use an hdmi cable.Also i am going to use my monitor speakers.

I would be grateful to get an answer,

If not using HDMI, then what? If you connect monitor with DVI cable, you will not get sound from GPU.

hdmi can delive audio and video

if you don't want the audio part, use the pc sound card and connect it to whatever you want

i personally build my pc and have no idea if the sound card works or not, after using hdmi you never look back

sorry I meant from my monitor to the soundcard and I already have an audio cable what my question is that I have heard some people say that they don't get sound after they install their graphics card

the system when you put a new gpu, has suddenly two sound cards, the one on the mainboard and one digital on the gpu, that really depends into the device who gets the signal, the gou itslef does nothing there, it is a pass trough device, the tv, monitor, whatever device that gets the signal generates audio from it

be sure to set properly the audio levels on the sound card and select the right output to get sound, play around with sound settings will get you where you want to go in this situation, if for some reason, doesn't work out of the box, as it should be

I don't think adding the new GPU will prevent your sound card from outputting analogue audio to your monitor's speakers. In fact, when I recently installed a new GPU with a HDMI port, I did not get any audio from the HDMI port, unless I unplugged the audio cable from my motherboard's sound card. But as said above, you can go into your Window's sound settings and specify the default sound device.

we expected that, no one mentioned extra sound card apart the one the mainboard has and the one that the gpu sort of has/emulates

Since your onboard audio is currently set as the default device, I don't think adding a GPU will override that setting by itself. If it somehow does, you simply go back in to sound settings and set your onboard audio as the default.

the bios is a basic program that handles cpu, ram, hard disk and lets them be used by the os

the sound card on the gpu has nothing to do with bios

the only thing you can disable or enable in bios is the onboard sound card, if you wish to disable it there
