can't download apps

I have a Toshiba WT8-B tablet and I can't download any apps. Get an error message that says internet connection is to slow. Nothing is wrong with the connection. I tried to update the driver , but still get the same message. Toshiba will help for a fee, but can't afford it.

It is possible (though I don't know for sure) that the tablet thinks you are on a metered connection. Try to load the apps on a different connection that is not metered, like at a coffee shop. You can also check the settings to make sure it allows app downloads on metered connections.

Lastly, since it doesn't appear to be a wifi problem, per se, try a forum dedicated to Toshiba tablets specifically or android, in general.
