Another question from me: I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, overclocked at 3.51GHz with stock cooler, 4GB DDR2 RAM. Could you please recommend me a graphics card that will work fine with my CPU, so it won't be limited by it? Note that I have PCI Express Gen 2 and a P45 motherboard. Or is it recommended to upgrade to a newer platform?

I also have a Cooler Master B600 80+, outputting 564W on the +12V rail, a Cooler Master case (I think it supports 150-160mm CPU height and 300mm GPU length).

Could someone recommend me an upgrade to a newer platform consisting in RAM, CPU, GPU, maybe a cooler if it is needed, and a SATA-III 1TB HDD 7200RPM? The budget is 650$, overclocking is not really necesarly. I usually do light After Effects renderings, Photoshop, Illustartor and gaming, browsing, YouTube.

Thank you!

I found one at 60$, but without cooler (Q9650). I think the E8400 cooler will fit, right? I need then to reapply the thermal compound. What thermal compound would you recommend me (any budget, but surely not above 20$).

I see that te Extreme processors consume like 135W, will my PSU support? With IDK, some overclocking and the rest of the components, which I think they reach like 300W (I have that motherboard, 4GB 1066MHz DDR2 HyperX CL5, 5-5-5-15 RAM, a Samsung 750 Evo SSD, A SAmsung Spinpoint F2 1TB SATA-II HDD, A Noctua silent fan, a case fan, a GT 9600 1GB by MSI with Zalman cooling card, an USB 2.0 hub, a LightScribe ODD and some internal card reader by Sycron).
