So I have the siberia 800, but the mic volume got really low and people had a hard time hearing what I was saying. I tried everything to get the volume up but nothing helped, they are 3 years old, so steelseries said they would rma it and give me a coupon from their site to buy anything, they gave me 229 and the 800's are 239. So basically would buy me a brand new pair but I'm worried they will have the same volume problems. So my question is, should I try the arctic 7? They have the same audio drivers, a better mic, and don't have that little box that goes on us desk. They aren't as premium but are still nice. Are rechargeable instead of the 2 battery hot swap thing. They cost 150, so anyone wanna give me some suggestions that have experience with either of these? Should I get the more expensive ones again or what? Thanks, I pretty much only pc game

Solution
Whatever you're comfortable with.
You're clearly really experienced with the 800s, so the 840s should be a slightly better version. :)
Go for those I reckon.
I know you're RMAing, I misread it as the Steelseries Store was giving you $230 cashback rather than a coupon, my bad. :p
The Arctis 7s are fantastic, but its up to you whether you can put up with occasional tiny dropouts as is common with all wireless headsets.
I don't think the 840s are worth it for the cash, they sound very similar to the 800s (their predecessor) with not much change.

Well I love my 800s I'm just worrier that the mic problem is just the design of the actual headset. The 800 and 840 are identical other than the 40 has bluetooth. I don't wanna spend another 100 anyways, I can get the 800s for 10 bucks or the arctis and some accessories. I love the wireless tho. Never had a problem in 3 years with mine.
