Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB Cooler

Hello, i am going to build a gaming pc and i want to ask if the one that i am buying has a decent cooler on it and if it will be able to keep things cool. Or should i worry about high temperatures and stuff? PS: i will not overclock the GPU. ( MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GT )

Yeah, it will keep the card cool. No worries. MSI would get a lot of hate if they fried all of their 1060s, LOL.

you should avoid the 1060 3gb. i got one and its been one of my biggest regrets.. For 200 dollers you can get a 780 ti which is a good bit faster, you can also get a 690 which is 2 gtx 680s which is just like 2 770's that being said there are WAYYYY faster options over the 1060..

P.S. The 1060 is actually now slower than the rx480 so if you buy a new card go the rx480

I thought about that too,however i usually don´t judge 1 fan GPU´s because there is no reason to do it but i was just worried because its a decend GPU and might create decent amounts of heat, and that was the cheapest 1060 i found on the store, was just worried that the fan and the heatsinks wouldn´t do their job very well and it would thermal throttle. But thanks for giving me your opinion i am more " relaxed " now.

You don't have to worry about that. A manufacturer would not out out a product that simply doesn't work. I know my 1060 hits 60c that's fine the refrence hit 80c which is also fine. The only time you need to worry is at that 85c mark your flu can handle hotter just insnt ideal. That hp card will stay cool I used to have a 760 hp card that drew more power, means more heat .. But it ran cool as can be 65-70c

I bought recently MSI gtx1060 3g one cooler version.
It's good stable graphic.
On idle is gtx temp. around 33 C degrees, for motherboard also 33C, and AMD fx8300 15C
in games and benchmark, gtx reach 50-60 C motherboard 50C, and AMD fx8300 40-50C.

Don't worry GTX1060 single cooler fan is set to work always, instead of twin frozr etc. .
PS. 40C degrees is better than water condensation in the pc. and you have also guaranty of 3 years.
BTW fx 8300 have air cooling gammax200.
