Ram selection help

I'm planning on buying an asus M5A78L-M LX3 and I want to upgrade my memory to this Kingston ram,please advise me whether it's a good memory stick for gaming:

I have it myself and it runs as advertised, even have it OCed a bit to 1950MHz and still runs at Cl 10 and 1.5v.

So it's good for gaming right? How about I buy a 4gb version of it instead because of financial issues and also I'm worried whether 1866mhz is dangerous and might blow up.

No danger of anything blowing up but if you don't have an FX processor no need for 1866MHz and it would be probably cheaper to go for 1333MHz for Athlon/Phenom processors. 4GB is a bit little for games and comfortable use nowadays.
If you are not overclocking, no need for fancy coolers either.

I have an fx 6300 and I don't go for overclocking and i play games at 1366*766 so it's ok to not go for cooling options and just do with the stock processor fan and one rear fan?
