Possible problem with ASUS laptop motherboard

I'm in a dilemma here,

I have a 2012 ASUS laptop with the following specs

ASUS X43B
K43BR Motherboard
500GB Hitachi HDD
AMD E2-1800 CPU @ 1.7GHz (18W Brazos)
AMD Radeon HD 7340 Integrated Graphics
AMD Radeon HD 7470M Dedicated Graphics
4GB DDR3 1.5v RAM in dual channel, two RAM sticks

The display is detached, because somebody accidentally broke it by stepping on it. The touchpad has a crack too. Everything else is fine, so now I have a laptop without a display and a possibly dysfunctional touchpad.

I can confirm everything was a few days after the laptop met its unfortunate accident. I hooked it up with an external keyboard, mouse, and monitor, and I was able to boot into Windows 7 64-bit and use it normally. There were no hardware defects. There were no HDD SMART errors.

A few days later, the laptop would only boot to the BIOS, and here is the major thing

No bootable devices are detected.]

The DVD drive won't be detected, HDD won't be detected, and any USB device I stick in on any of the USB ports will not be detected.

I have connected another DVD Drive from my other laptop to this laptop, same results.

I have connected another HDD to this laptop, not detected

I can confirm both HDDs are working and perfectly functional, as I have connected them both in an external SATA to USB connector and in a desktop computer.

NOTHING WILL BE DETECTED BY THE BIOS

Now, most of the time my laptop won't even boot to the BIOS. All I get is a blank screen, with no signal coming from the external monitor via both VGA and HDMI.

I have to hold Ctrl+Home before pressing the power button. Holding F4 also works.

Note here, for ASUS motherboards those two key combinations are ways of updating the BIOS. F4 gets me to the updating BIOS screen, then I press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart and I can get into the BIOS

Ctrl+Home simply leads me to the BIOS like usual

Here's another thing to note: Sometimes the HDD spins up, and sometimes it doesn't.

I've done the following steps.

Toggled UEFI boot enabled/disabled
(Secure Boot isn't supported by this motherboard)
Restored BIOS settings to default
Removed the CMOS battery and reinstalled it
Disconnecting the keyboard. (The keys aren't stuck on F2, Esc, F12, or any other random function key)

And... of course... Updating the BIOS
This fails. Why? Because the BIOS won't detect any devices connected to it

I can't boot into Windows, so flashing from Windows is not an option.
I can't boot into DOS with a flash drive, so using DOS to flash is won't work
And I can't even use ASUS EasyFlash from the BIOS because it won't detect any devices.

Prior to this there were no software updates or hardware modificaions

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to get every detail and not miss something
