Hi everyone, I'm putting together my first PC, I will be using it to edit with adobe creative set, blender, davinci resolve...

Any advice/opinions or general tips would be greatly appreciated. I have pasted the complete build below

CPU: Intel CPU Core i5-7500 Sockel 1151 Tray 4x 3,4GHz
Motherboard: MSI Mainboard B150M
CPU cooler: LC- Power CPU cooler
Memory: 2* Crucial RAM DDR4 8GB
Storage: Crucial SSD 2,5" 275GB SATA3 + SATAIII 1000GB 3,5" 7200rpm Toshiba
Video Card: Manli Grafikkarte GTX1060 - 6GB, PCI-Express
Power Supply: Argus APS 720W

Solution
If you don't plan to overclock, an i7 7700 + B250 board offer a lot more value than a 7700K + Z270. You don't need an aftermarket cooler then, either.

EDIT: A 720w power supply is also massive overkill. Your system as-configured will likely never draw more than ~250w.

It will be better if you can have a 7700k and a Z270 motherboard. 16GB RAM. And a Seasonic M12II 550w PSU. Because you will be doing 3D works and video rendering, etc. in it. And you don't need a 720 watt PSU.

Does the GA-Z170-HD3P motherboard support i7 7700k ? and will a 530W PSU be enough ?

Yes it is supported. But you need a BIOS update which is a big hassle. Better you get a Z270 motherboard. And yes 530W PSU will be enough depending on the build quality.

Do I risk overheating the CPU with the intel cooler while rendering videos ( with no OC) ?
