how does gpu boost 3.0 works??

i use gtx 1060 msi armor..i am noticing jump in my coreclock ..sometime it rises up and sometime down..i want to know until my card hit targetted temp will it oc itself to its max?? btw my card hit 65 at load ..TIA :)

GPU Boost 3.0 checks your temps and your power limit and it will try to boost as high as it thinks is safe and possible. It's pretty good at finding the maximum clock for your particular situation but it's not perfect. If you increase your temperature limit and power limit, it MAY boost higher but of course, watch your temps while doing this, to make sure they don't go too high.
